Refund and Returns Policy

Overview

Our refund and returns policy lasts 30 days from the date you receive your order. If more than 30 days have passed, we’re unable to offer a refund or exchange unless required by UK consumer law.

This policy applies to physical products sold by Omega Marine, including the Curio stainless-steel gimballed enclosure and related mounting hardware.

As all units are manufactured in small production batches, we ask that returned items are sent back in unused condition, complete with all original components, packaging, and protective materials.

Eligibility for Returns

To be eligible for a return:

  • The item must be unused, undamaged, and in the same condition you received it.
  • All packaging, brackets, plates, fixings, and protective materials must be included.
  • The unit must not have been installed, modified, drilled, or used in a marine environment.
  • A receipt or proof of purchase is required.

Returns cannot be accepted for:

  • Items that show signs of installation or use (e.g., fitting marks, wiring, sealant residue).
  • Units damaged due to improper handling, incorrect installation, or poor packaging during return transit.
  • Custom or modified orders (unless faulty).
  • Digital services, consultancy sessions, or design work already delivered.

Please do not send your product back to the fabricator — all returns must be sent directly to Omega Marine.

Partial Refunds

Partial refunds may be granted if:

  • Returned items are not in their original condition.
  • Components or fixtures are missing.
  • Packaging is significantly damaged.
  • The return is requested more than 30 days after delivery (case-by-case).

Refunds

Once we receive and inspect your returned item, we’ll email you to confirm:

  1. That the return has arrived.
  2. Whether the refund has been approved or declined.

If approved, your refund will be processed to your original payment method. Processing times depend on your bank or card provider.

Late or missing refunds

If you haven’t received your refund after the approval email:

  1. Check your bank account again.
  2. Contact your card provider — refunds can take several days to post.
  3. Contact your bank.

If you’ve completed these steps and still don’t see your refund, please contact us.

Sale items


Sale items, discounted units, ex-demo enclosures, or B-grade stock are not eligible for refund, unless faulty.

Exchanges

We replace items only if they are defective, damaged in transit, or materially incorrect.

If you need to arrange an exchange, contact us and we’ll confirm the next steps.

Exchanges can only be made for the same product model.

Shipping returns

To return your product, please send it to the return address provided with your received package.

You are responsible for return shipping costs, and these are non-refundable.

If a refund is approved, outbound shipping charged at purchase is not refundable.

For valuable items such as the Curio enclosure, we strongly recommend using a tracked and insured courier service, as we cannot guarantee receipt of your returned item without tracking evidence.
